As Presbyterians, we believe:
  • There is one God who is made known through three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  • God continues to communicate with us through the Bible, God's authoritative word, and through God's Spirit.
  • People are born separated from a relationship of peace with God and are undeserving of God's mercies, but God's grace through Jesus Christ redeems us.
  • Calling upon Jesus, God's Son, is our only means of salvation and peace with God.
  • Our faith is initiated by the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives. We do not choose God. God chooses us.
  • The Presbyterian Church is one expression of all churches that confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
  • There are two sacraments: Baptism of infants and adult believers and the Lord's Supper, God's spiritual meal of bread and wine.
"People of God," by Ruth Bryant Quackenbush, appears in our sanctuary. Click to see the full painting.
