New Sermon Series
 
"A Missional Church"
 
 
 
  A wise theologian of a generation or two ago once said, "The church exists by mission as a fire exists by burning." In other words, mission isn't a church program. Instead, it's who we are in Jesus Christ. Why are we called out by God in His grace and mercy? To share His love with our fellow human beings through words and deeds that reflect the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit's redemptive purpose. As the Presbyterian Church USA Book of Order states, as God's adopted children, we are elected both to salvation and to service. The sermon series beginning on Pentecost Sunday, May 19, reflects this missional priority in the New Testament. In "A Missional Church," we'll consider passages from the book of Acts that reveal how God works through flawed, fallible human beings to share the good news of Jesus Christ.

Prep nights: Wednesday, May 15 and Wednesday, May 22nd from 5:30 to 7:30 and Saturday, June 1 and Saturday, June 8 from 9-4.
